… e finalmente festival!

Dopo esserci sorbiti musica sudamericana per piú di due mesi, dopo essere arrivati in Brasile dove la musica che abbiamo ascoltato per strada finora é stata solo Forro´( e chi non sa cos´é non si perde nulla credeteci) e rock nacional, finalmente le radici africane di Bahia dettano legge e qui si ascolta ovunque REGGAE!
E soprattutto dopo aver letto il commento di Davidi sui concerti di Torino (grazie degli aggiornamenti) e parecchie mail di Diego con i suoi concerti quasi quotidiani a Sidney (non cito neanche i gruppi perche´praticamente son tutti i migliori al mondo)  finalmente anche noi possiamo dire di essere stati ad un festival!

Arrivati a Salvador non a caso di sabato sera, ci siamo ricordati di un personaggio bahiano incontrato nel campeggio di Morro (sul personaggio si potrebbero spendere molte parole, diciamo che era un tipo di zona, e la sua zona di lavoro era la spiaggia…) che ci aveva accennato di un fantomatico Tributo a Bob imperdibile la sera del 31 a Salvador.
In citta´non abbiamo trovato cartelloni in merito, ma passando da un calzolaio sotto casa, ops ostello, abbiamo incontrato un altro personaggio che mentre ci aggiustava i sandali ballava molleggiando a ritmo di dub. Gli abbiamo chiesto del concerto e lui “certo! e´da non perdere!”.
A quel punto si trattava di scoprire dove trovare i biglietti e soprattutto abbandonare il bel centro storico turistico e protetto del Pelorinho per addentrarsi nella periferia di Salvador alla ricerca del festival. Individuato il pulman, non é stato difficile capire dove scendere, perché tutto il popolo reggae di Salvador era lí per il tributo.
Migliaia e migliaia di persone, musica dal vivo dalle 20.00 all´alba con gruppi locali e internazionali: Adão Negro, Dissidência, Ponto de Equilíbrio, Moa Ambesa e Lucky Dube.
Insomma dobbiamo ammettere che nonostante le moltissime avventure che stiamo vivendo una situazione cosi´ci voleva proprio ed e´stato bello riuscirsela a vivere in mezzo alla gente di Bahia e lontano dai soliti circuiti turistici.
