Correva l’anno 2007 quando io e Pablo con un sorriso stampato sul viso  salutavamo tutti e ci preparavamo a partire per il nostro Giro del Mondo. Mi ricordo ancora l’adrenalina dei preparativi, le ultime serate torinesi in cui già ci sentivamo distanti anni luce dai soliti locali, le solite uscite, le solite chiacchiere.
Oggi con gran piacere salutiamo due viaggiatori in partenza che ci stanno facendo riaffiorare tanti ricordi: Luca e Roberta di IdeaNomade.
Con Roberta son cresciuta sui banchi di scuola, dal liceo, un’amicizia intensa di tante cose in comune. Passano gli anni, ci si incontrava ormai per caso in città, per poi scoprire che la passione per i viaggi é la stessa e vederla partire come noi, zaino in spalla pronta a realizzare i suoi sogni.
Li seguiremo dal loro blog, con un pizzico di sana invidia, rivedremo posti già visti, ci stupiremo nel vedere i cambiamenti e ci faremo ispirare per i prossimi viaggi. Ci siamo dati un appuntamento, non al bar sotto casa per un caffè al rientro , ma in Asia da qualche parte il prossimo anno.
In tanti penseranno che sono i soliti fortunati, che loro se lo possono permettere, io ribadisco che è sempre questione di scelte. Hanno avuto il coraggio di mollare tutto, il lavoro, la casa, la famiglia e gli amici. Hanno venduto la macchina e girato un anno a piedi in città per iniziare a risparmiare per il viaggio. Non dormiranno in resort all inclusive e viaggeranno su mezzi sgangherati, cammineranno per chilometri con il loro zaino, ma saranno liberi e felici, con tutto il tempo e il mondo a loro disposizione.

Suerte Luca e Roby, que te vaya bien! Vi diranno in Argentina dove forse sarete già atterrati quando ci leggerete.

La spilletta di Caterina che ci ha accompagnato per tutto il viaggio sulla nostra borsa dice “Se non ci provi non lo saprai mai”. Voi lo state facendo e avete tutta la nostra stima!
