Siamo tornati da più di un mese e ancora ci sentiamo turisti nella nostra città.
A camminare per le strade bagnate del centro provo la stessa sensazione di quella soleggiata mattina del primo maggio quando, a poche ore dal nostro arrivo, non riuscendo a dormire per l’adrenalina del rientro, abbiamo cominciato a vagare senza meta con il naso all’insù per ammirare l’architettura dei palazzi, stupendoci nel sentir le voci italiane degli altri passanti.
Quindici mesi intorno al mondo ed è bello tornare e scoprire che Torino è ancora più bella di prima. Saranno i turisti che finalmente iniziano ad arrivare a carovane, saranno le piazze pedonali dove ci piace passeggiare, sarà la libertà di questi giorni che ci porta a scoprire il mercato di Porta Palazzo in settimana, sarà che per una volta non abbiamo fretta e ci concediamo il lusso di camminare a piedi per scoprire ogni cambiamento avvenuto in nostra assenza.
Come dei turisti curiosi passeggiamo sotto la pioggia incessante di questi giorni a ricordo dei temporali tropicali e degli scampati monsoni indiani.
Ma non siamo solo noi ad accorgerci della bellezza di casa nostra, la prestigiosa Guida verde Michelin ha deciso, quest’anno, di assegnare a Torino tre stelle, inserendola tra i “da non perdere” al pari di Roma, Firenze, Venezia e Pompei.
E chissà se nel prossimo viaggio, parlando della nostra città, potremo evitare di elencare Fiat, Juventus e Nutella perchè gli altri viaggiatori capiscano da dove veniamo.
Intanto noi continuiamo a passeggiare in questa divertente veste di turisti, tentando di riadattarci alla vita di prima o più che altro tentando di non tornare alla vita di prima.
Il viaggio ci ha sicuramente cambiati e il difficile rientro ancora di più. Siamo combattuti ogni giorno tra il restare e il rimetterci lo zaino in spalla e partire.
Quindi, anche se a volte la curiosità ha la meglio, non chiedeteci ancora cosa faremo da grandi. Le idee e i sogni sono molti, spesso in contrasto tra loro, ma di una cosa sono certa, siamo partiti e tornati insieme e insieme abbiamo il potenziale per realizzare ogni nuovo sogno, con la nostra buona stella che ci guiderà nei prossimi viaggi.
