Dopo essere andati in Belgio a trovare il nostro amico Sander eccoci qui a viaggiare di nuovo (strano vero?), questa volta in direzione Sardegna per un po’ di ottimo mare nostrano e per andare a trovare Cecilia amica conosciuta nel sud dell’India.
Con Ceci abbiamo condiviso solo pochissime ore del nostro viaggio intorno al mondo perché il destino ci ha fatti incontrare al termine del suo viaggio indiano, ma, tra viaggiatori, a volte bastano pochissimi minuti per entrare in sintonia. Con Cecilia è stato così.
Abbiamo capito da subito che sarebbe stata una persona interessante da scoprire e che avrebbe avuto molte storie di viaggio da condividere con noi. Infatti, e lo dico con molto più che un pizzico di invidia, Ceci lavora in Sardegna nella gestione di un piccolo albergo e per sei mesi all’anno, grazie alla stagionalità del suo lavoro, gira per il mondo. Ha tutta la nostra stima perché molti sognano e dicono di voler di viaggiare, ma pochi hanno veramente il coraggio di farlo, soprattutto le donne da sole.
E così abbiamo preso un traghetto per la Sardegna, ma per evitare il turismo di massa che, come ormai avrete capito, non fa per noi, ci siamo diretti verso il sud dell’isola in cerca di luoghi meno battuti.
I primi tre giorni li abbiamo passati nella ridente cittadina di Guspini, nell’entroterra sardo. Un piccolo paese dove i ragazzi dell’etichetta musicale indipendente sarda Here I Stay hanno organizzato un festival che ha fatto veramente al caso nostro. Due palchi in mezzo al verde, un campeggio sotto gli ulivi, musica dal vivo dalle sette di sera alle due di mattina per poi partire con i dj set. Musica indie rock, folk, country, noise, elettronica, visual … complimenti agli organizzatori di questo piccolo grande festival, un evento unico nello sguarnito panorama degli eventi sardi.
Noi ci siamo divertiti ad andare di giorno nelle splendide spiagge della Costa Verde e a campeggiare alla sera con la musica dal vivo a fare da sottofondo alle nostre nottate circondati dai giovani stilosi rockettari sardi, rigorosamente con i jeans e le all-stars ai piedi ;-)
Finito il festival, essendoci profondamente innamorati delle spiagge deserte della Costa Verde, abbiamo deciso di passare nella spiaggia di Scivu altri tre giorni.
Uno spiaggione di sabbia bianca, un mare con niente da invidiare a quello dei caraibi, un ombrellone ogni 200 metri, la nostra tenda con vista mare, l’ Ichnusa fresca da sorseggiare ammirando la palla rossa del sole calare sull’acqua tutte le sere, un fornelletto per le nostre cenette, il falò per scaldarci nelle lunghi notti a guardare le stelle e esprimere desideri…cosa volere di più?
L’ultimo giorno siamo stati gentilmente ospitati da Cecilia in Costa Smeralda, precisamente a Baia Sardinia.
Dopo aver passato la prima settimana, nonostante l’alta stagione, in spiagge meravigliose e semi deserte, è stato uno shock arrivare in mezzo al turismo di massa. Un macello umano, la gente compressa in piccole spiagge a pochi centimetri gli uni dagli altri. I macchinoni nei parcheggi, i costumi all’ultima moda, le barche ad oscurare la vista, i bambini urlanti, l’acqua unta dalle creme solari e i cellulari che squillano a ripetizione.
Proprio non riesco a capire come, con tutto quello che la Sardegna può offrire, la gente preferisca spendere i pochi soldi risparmiati durante l’anno per andare nei posti più cari, più affollati, dove incontrare le stesse facce che si incontrano nelle proprie serate cittadine. Credo la chiamino “moda”, ma a me, personalmente, ricordavano più un branco di pecore.

PS:Se capitate dalle parti della Sardegna non dimenticatevi di fare un giro ad Orgosolo (vicino a Nuoro) per ammirare i bellissimi murales e il caratteristico paese.

Bho,forse lo scorso anno siamo stati fortunati…o forse le pecore non erano ancora arrivate così in massa:-P!Ma ci hanno fatto impazzire le calette SEMI-DESERTE della costa Smeralda (anche ad inizio Agosto!) e un mare x noi molto più bello del Sud Sardegna…per quanto poi la differenza noi sia così eccessiva!Certo, Baia Sardinia non l’abbiamo neanche sfiorata e siamo scappati dalla “Spiaggia del Principe”…x scoprire che le pecore amano non spostarsi tanto ma andare nelle SOLITE spiagge sovraaffollate che considerano di Moda… Bhè, se qualcuno ha voglia di scoprire calette NUOVE in costa Smeralda vi assicuro che ce ne sono davvero tante!W la Sardegna…e i sardi…eh io sono 1 po’ di parte;-)!
